    The Moon Stones, "Love Call" (Dolton 70, 1963 or so) is supposedly The Ventures playing acoustic guitars and singing (it's on the same label, so it's very possible). Whoever it is, it's a cool 45, worth finding; I think I may be on YouTube, too. (I'd place the sound in Michael Shelley or Bill Kelly territory.)
