Crayons to Perfume's Girl of the Week wasThe Duchess, and the Ladies Behind the Music...

Last Wednesday, Crayons to Perfume changed our broadcast date, and went LIVE on the WFMUIchiban stream - now Wednesday evenings at 7pm, our show is archived shortly after that - you can find a link to all of our past shows if you look to the right of your screen.

Our show featured ladies who play instruments in groups - of course Bo Diddley's gunslingerettes: The Duchess and the Lady Bo, as well as skin bashers Jan Ashton/Errico and Honeylantree plus a host of other talented gals. It's a very different Crayons to Perfume, and you won't want to miss it!

Hi guys,

Just FYI, that's Lady Bo pictured in your image. She was Bo Diddley's original girl guitar player circa 1957 thru 1961 and then sporadically thru until the early 1990s.

Duchess followed Lady Bo. She was with Bo Diddley's band circa 1962 thru 1966.

You should listen to the show!

Your shows are great, but you have stopped putting them in the archive on the left of the page. Look, it's just over there. This is disappointing.

Why aren't all of the shows available as MP3 or ZIP downloads?
