Whig Out! with Nuggets Night!!
Tonite! The Whig Out! spotlights Nuggets Night - a two night festival featuring all things NUGGETS in Portland Oregon. This year the festival is headed by Love Revisited featuring Johnny Echols. They put on a can't miss show, so if you're in Portland, you need to be there!!!! Also playing are Whig Out! favorites the Pynnacles and the Reverberations and many many more outtasite groups who dig into all your fave artyfacts from the psychedelic era! We talk to Nuggets Night creator and organizer Luke Strohata about the beginnings of the festival and it gives back to the Portland music community by donating proceeds to various local organizations - this year benefiting Queer Rock Camp for Kids ... what a great way to keep the Nuggets going in the next generation!! Tune in Sunday May 6th at 8pm (5 Pacific) right after The Real Nitty Gritty! and check out that amazing poster by Ichiban's own Vikki V of the Fringe Factory!!
