Thanks Paul Kelly. As I am in Toronto, I do have access to and appreciation of cool Canadian songs. Lots probably first heard on CFNY in the 70s and 80s.

Who were The Gas?
Paul Kelly: The Gas were (probably) just a one-off studio group. Main guy was Greg Warren, with Eva Everything female vocals. It was a cash-in on a train disaster that happened in Mississauga 1980. Eva did put out a solo album which I own.
